In Salesforce, the Winter '26 release extends Email Verification requirements to users created before November 1, 2016. Previously, these users were not required to verify their email addresses. With this change, unverified users in this group will need to complete email verification before they can send emails from Salesforce.
To identify affected users, create a List View on the Users Setup page filtered to show users created before November 1, 2016 where the email address is unverified. To quickly verify an individual user, select the user from the Users Setup page and click Verify next to their email address — this sends them a verification email.
To verify users in bulk, use the Async Email Verification method.
For full details on this change, see the Winter '26 release note on confirmed verified email addresses.
