Google Contact Sync with Einstein Activity Capture

公開日: Aug 18, 2026
説明

When syncing Google Contacts with Salesforce using Einstein Activity Capture (EAC), only contacts that have the primary email address labelled as "Work" in Google Contacts are eligible for synchronization. Contacts with emails labelled as Home, Other, or custom labels will not sync to Salesforce. This is a current limitation of EAC's contact synchronization with Google.

解決策

This section explains how to fix Google Contacts that are not syncing to Salesforce through Einstein Activity Capture (EAC).

Why Google Contacts Don't Sync

EAC only syncs a Google Contact to Salesforce when the contact's primary email is labelled "Work" in Google Contacts. Contacts whose primary email is labelled Home, Other, or a custom label are skipped during sync.

How to Fix the Sync Issue

To ensure successful sync, verify that:

  • The Work label is applied to the contact's primary email in Google Contacts.
  • Contact sync is enabled in your EAC configuration settings in Salesforce.
  • Any existing Salesforce Contacts with the same email address will be updated; otherwise, new records will be created.
