Article Answers for Einstein Bots Retirement

Salesforce Bots that already used Article Answers could have continued using it until December 31, 2025. Article Answers has been unavailable for Einstein bots created in the Summer ’25 or later. Also, support and updates for Article Answers have ended as of Spring ’25. 

How am I affected by this change?

After Article Answers retired, bots with Article Answers no longer delivered content from your knowledge base. For more information about the Article Answers dialog, see Deliver Knowledge Articles with Knowledge Answers.

What action can I take?

To prevent disruptions, turn off Article Answers and remove the Article Answers dialog from your bots’ conversational flow. Consider transitioning enhanced bots to Generative Knowledge Answers. If you take no action, bots with Article Answers will stop delivering content from your knowledge base after the retirement date.
