This article explains why the "Reset Password" button may not appear on an Experience Cloud user's detail page. This issue typically occurs if the Experience Cloud site is inactive. When a site is inactive, certain functionalities, including the "Reset Password" button, are disabled to prevent unauthorized access.
To display the "Reset Password" button, you must activate the Experience Cloud site that the user is a member of. Follow these steps to activate the site:
1. From Setup, enter "Digital Experiences" in the Quick Find box, then select "All Sites".
2. Locate the target site in the list and click Workspaces next to it.
3. In the Workspaces area, click the Administration tile.
4. From the menu on the left, click Settings.
5. In the Settings section, click the Activate button.
After completing these steps, confirm that the "Reset Password" button is now visible on the Experience Cloud user's detail page.
