Guidance on Migrating NPSP Workflow Rules to Flow

Flows built with Flow Builder will be the future of declarative automation on the Salesforce platform. Customers are asking about the considerations and next steps for their existing Workflow Rules. This article specifically addresses questions regarding Workflow Rules that are part of the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) which are managed Workflow Rules. 

While Salesforce is encouraging the use of Flow for new automation, it's important to understand how this applies to the pre-packaged workflows within NPSP.

Solución

There are no plans to migrate existing NPSP Workflow Rules to Flow. The packaged workflows will continue to function as they currently do.

 

Customers who wish to transition their automation from the packaged NPSP Workflow Rules to Flow have the option to do so. We recommend recreating these workflows as Flows in your Salesforce org. If you choose to do this, you will need to inactivate the corresponding packaged workflows to prevent redundant or conflicting automation.
