Why Libraries May Not Be Visible

The Library component in Experience Cloud sites relies on two conditions being met: Salesforce CRM Content must be enabled at the organization level, and the "Salesforce CRM Content User" feature license must be assigned to each user who needs access. If either of these conditions is not met, the Library component will appear empty or libraries will not display on the site.

Løsning

This issue can be resolved by enabling Salesforce CRM Content at the organization level and then enabling the "Salesforce CRM Content User" permission for each user who needs access. Check the following two settings.

Step 1: Enable Salesforce CRM Content (Org-Level Setting)

  1. From Setup, enter Salesforce CRM Content in the Quick Find box, then select Salesforce CRM Content.
  2. Check the box for Enable Salesforce CRM Content and save the setting.

Step 2: Assign the Salesforce CRM Content User License

  1. From Setup, enter Users in the Quick Find box, then select Users.
  2. Click the name of the user you want to grant library access to.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select the Salesforce CRM Content User checkbox to enable it.
  5. Click Save.

After completing both Step 1 and Step 2, the target user will be able to access libraries on the Experience Cloud site.
