[Data Cloud] Marketing Cloud Engagement Tile Is Not Displayed When Creating a New Data Stream

In the Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement connection setup, the "Data Source Setup (Optional)" and "Select Business Units to Activate (Optional) " sections are labeled as optional in the UI. However, if you skip these steps, the Marketing Cloud Engagement tile will not appear under "Connected Sources" on the new data stream creation screen.

To resolve this issue, please complete all the optional settings by following the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Setup > Data Cloud Setup.
  2. Select Marketing | Marketing Cloud Engagement.
  3. In the Data Source Setup (Optional) and Select Business Units to Activate (Optional) section, configure all the displayed items and save.

After completing these steps, the Marketing Cloud Engagement tile will appear under Connected Sources on the new data stream creation screen.
