Automated Reconnection and Disconnection in On-Prem Servers

The production and pre-production servers are experiencing frequent disconnections and auto-reconnections without any recent changes on the customer's end. The error logs indicate "Closing Mule Agent WebSocket - Close Code: 1006 - Close Reason: Connection was closed abnormally (that is, with no close frame being received)".

Løsning
  1. Monitor the server behavior and review the mule_ee and mule agent logs to confirm the server was automatically reconnected, You can observe for " WebSocket Client connection authorized" after the 1006 ERROR code which explains the same.
  2. Currently, when Mulesoft platform infrastructure upgrades or pod recycling events takes place, runtime manager agent disconnections and reconnections occur as part of the normal process.
  3. A bug fix(W-16997331) is in progress, which explains that alerts will not be triggered if the server connects back in less than 5 seconds.
  4. However, this fix will only avoid alerts but the error code in the mulee logs and mule agent logs will still be in place.
    Kindly ignore them.
  5. (NOTE : This applies only when the server gets automatically disconnected and reconnected without any user interventions).
