In Salesforce Visual Remote Assistant (VRA), the text content of session invitation emails and SMS messages cannot be customized directly from the organization settings UI. To customize the invitation text, you must contact Salesforce Support and provide the required details listed in this article. Customizations apply per organization — if you need changes in multiple orgs, submit a separate case for each.

Customizing the text of Visual Remote Assistant (VRA) session invitation emails and SMS messages cannot be performed from the organization settings. Please prepare the following information and log a case with Salesforce Support to request the customization.

Information to Provide to Support

  1. Organization ID (Org ID) where you want to customize the VRA invitation message
    • If changes are required in multiple organizations, please submit a separate case for each organization.
  2. Subject line when using email
  3. Invitation body when using email
    • You must include the invitation URL in the email. Please indicate the placement of the invitation URL using the format {{url}}.
  4. Invitation body when using SMS (Max 109 characters without the invitation link,Max 160 characters including the invitation link)
    • Similar to email, please indicate the placement of the invitation URL using the format {{url}}.

Additional Information

  • If you wish to include the Case Number in the invitation text, please use the format {{CaseNumber}}.
