Migrate or Delete Visual Remote Assistant Accounts

This article explains considerations for migrating and deleting Visual Remote Assistant (VRA) accounts, specifically regarding Sandbox refreshes.

Deletion Procedure

  1. From the App Launcher, open the Visual Remote Assistant - Admin app.
  2. Open Visual Remote Assistant Configuration.
  3. From the menu, select Account Activation, and then under Manage Account, click Delete Account.

Note: The behavior is subject to change. Contact Salesforce Support for the latest procedure.


Considerations

  • When using the same VRA account in a different Sandbox environment, such as during a Sandbox refresh, consider the following:
  • Deleting a VRA account may take up to 72 hours.
  • If a Sandbox environment is deleted or refreshed while the VRA account is active, the VRA account is not automatically deleted.
  • If the VRA account is not deleted, you cannot use a VRA account with the same subdomain.

Contact Salesforce Support if you refreshed the Sandbox without deleting the VRA account, or if you cannot use the VRA account with the same subdomain more than 72 hours after deletion.
