Marketing Cloud Advertising Studio Retirement
Salesforce is retiring Marketing Cloud Advertising Studio products, and subscriptions to these products will no longer be renewable starting on August 15, 2026. This impacts all products sold under the names Marketing Cloud Advertising, Ad Studio, and Active Audiences.
What does this mean for existing customers?
You may continue to use your current Marketing Cloud Advertising Studio subscriptions to these products through your existing term. If you wish to renew, you must do so before August 15, 2026.
What's the recommendation going forward?
Salesforce is investing in Data Cloud Ad Audiences as the advertising solution for marketers. While you may continue to use Marketing Cloud Advertising Studio, we recommend Data Cloud Ad Audiences going forward. If you have any questions, contact your Account Executive.
Does this announcement impact Marketing Cloud Advertising Lead Capture?
No, the Lead Capture apps for both Sales and Marketing Cloud aren't impacted by this announcement. Customers may continue to use and install these apps from AppExchange in order to ingest leads from Meta and Google.
The path forward for customers is to plan a transition to Data Cloud Ad Audiences, which is Salesforce's next-generation advertising solution.
Short-Term: You may continue to use your current Advertising Studio subscription for the remainder of your existing contract term.
Long-Term: Begin planning your migration to Data Cloud Ad Audiences.
