Global Header Background Unavailable for SLDS 2 Themes

Description

The ability to configure a global header background color for Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) 2 themes was removed when SLDS 2 became generally available. This function was previously available during the SLDS 2 beta. 

Résolution

Dark mode is now available in beta for SLDS 2 themes in Starter orgs. In some cases, selections made for the global header background caused accessibility issues when dark mode was enabled. To ensure all users have an accessible experience, we’ve removed this function from SLDS 2 custom themes for now. We’re exploring ways to return this functionality.
