Salesforce Legacy Agent Analytics Retirement

Publiseringsdato: Apr 1, 2026
Beskrivelse

Salesforce will retire legacy Agent Analytics on May 31, 2026. We have transitioned to a new version of Agent Analytics effective September 4th, 2025. This upgrade aims to provide a more sophisticated solution layer and optimize data consumption.

What does this change mean for me?

The transition will replace several existing functionalities with enhanced versions. The data ingestion model will move to the Agentforce Session Tracing Data Model, and Data Cloud reports and dashboards will transition to Tableau Next. During the transition period, both legacy and new Analytics pipelines will run concurrently, which may result in higher Data Cloud billing until you complete your transition and switch off the legacy Agent Analytics from Setup.

What action can I take?

Yes, actions are required to ensure a smooth transition. Please complete the following steps:

  1. Turn on Agentforce Session Tracing & Data Model from Setup.
  2. Turn on Einstein Feedback from Setup.
  3. Turn on Agentforce Optimization from Setup.
  4. Assign the Agentforce Service Agent Configuration permission set to yourself in order to install Agent Analytics
  5. Assign Tableau Next Limited Consumer or Tableau Next Platform Analyst and Data Cloud User permission sets to yourself and to additional users in order to view the dashboards
  6. Assign Access Agentforce Optimization psl to users.
  7. Install Tableau Next Agentforce Analytics.
  8. Transition from Agent (Default) to Agentforce Employee Agent.
  9. If you have built any automation (Flow, Apex, or Prompt) on top of legacyDLOs or DMOs, please transition them to execute on top of Agentforce Session Data Model or Einstein Feedback.
  10. If you have built any custom reports or dashboards on top of legacy DLOs or DMOs, please transition them to execute on top of Agentforce Analytics Foundations Semantic Model or Einstein Feedback.
  11. Once all the above actions are completed, turn off Agent Analytics from Setup.

Please refer to this article to evaluate the full list of services that are being transitioned.

What happens if I don’t take action?

Agentforce Session Data Model collects data from the moment of enablement. Ensure you activate the Agentforce Session Data Model ahead of time, so your dashboards will have sufficient historical data.

How do I identify affected users?
