Learn how to use the VRA Retrieve Session Recording Screen Flow to recover recordings from disconnected Visual Remote Assistant sessions that were not saved automatically.
Even if a session is disconnected midway, you may be able to access the session recording by adding the "VRA Retrieve Session Recording Screen Flow" component to the Lightning Record Page. Please try the following steps.
A. Configure the Flow Component
First, add the flow component for recording retrieval to the "Visual Remote Assistant Reports" record page.
From Setup, navigate to the Object Manager, search for Visual Remote Assistant Reports, and select it.
Click Lightning Record Pages from the left sidebar.
Select the target Visual Remote Assistant Reports Record Page and click Edit.
From the component list on the left, drag and drop the Flow component onto any desired position on the page layout.
In the component properties pane on the right, select VRA Retrieve Session Recording Screen Flow from the Flow dropdown menu.
Select the Pass record ID into this variable checkbox.
Click Save.
Click Activation, select Assign as Org Default, and save your changes.
B. Retrieve the Recording
Next, attempt to retrieve the recording using the newly added component.
Open Visual Remote Assistant Reports from the App Launcher.
Open the specific session record for which you want to retrieve the recording.
Click View Session Recording within the "VRA Retrieve Session Recording Screen Flow" component on the page to check if the recording can be retrieved.

In the "Visual Remote Assistant Reports" record for the target session, enter Video in the Session Type field and save the record.
Try using the "VRA Retrieve Session Recording Screen Flow" again.
