Cannot disable Opportunity Update Reminders via Personal Settings due to "From Email Address" error

This issue occurs because the From Email Address is a required field when disabling the reminder through "My Update Reminders" in Personal Settings.

To resolve this issue and disable the Opportunity Update Reminder, follow one of the procedures below:

Method 1: Enter an Email Address when disabling via Personal Settings

1. In the "My Update Reminders" screen under Personal Settings, uncheck the "Active" option.
2. Enter any valid email address in the "From Email Address" field.
3. Click [Save] to save the settings.

Method 2: System Administrator performs bulk deactivation

A user with System Administrator privileges can deactivate reminders for users in bulk from the Setup page.

1. In Setup, enter 'Update Reminders' in the Quick Find box, and click on the 'Update Reminders' link that appears in the search results.
2. Check the check box next to the target users.
3. Click the [Disactivate] at the top of the list to deactivate the reminders for the selected users.
