When Migrating an Einstein Bot Using Change Set a Salesforce Error Occurs "Invalid value for Bot User field given."

In Agentforce Service (formerly Service Cloud), the error "Invalid value for Bot User field given" can occur when migrating an Einstein bot using a Change Set.  This error occurs because the user specified in the bot settings does not exist in the target organization.

Risoluzione

To complete the migration, temporarily set the bot user to “Basic Chatbot User” in the source organization and include it in the change set for release.

Steps:

  1. In the source organization, navigate to [SetUp] > [Einstein ]>[EinsteinPlatform ]>[Einstein Bots].
  2. Select the bot to migrate.
  3. rom the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner of the Bot Builder screen, select [Overview].
  4. Click the pencil icon next to the Bot User field in the Settings section, change it to “Basic Chatbot User,” and save.　　

After releasing the change set following the steps above, reconfigure the appropriate bot user in the destination organization.
