This error commonly occurs during sandbox-to-sandbox or sandbox-to-production migrations where the bot user configured in the source org does not have a matching user account in the destination org.
To complete the migration, temporarily set the bot user to “Basic Chatbot User” in the source organization and include it in the change set for release.
Steps:
After successfully releasing the change set, navigate to the destination org and reconfigure the Bot User field to the appropriate user for that environment — the temporary 'Basic Chatbot User' setting should not remain in production.
