You may encounter the following error when a Batch Data Transform is stuck in Failure status:
"Hmm, that didn't work. Please try running the recipe again. Error ID: 2000-f23d12c-000000000000000. If the error occurs again, contact Salesforce Customer Support."
To reproduce the error, please follow these steps:
If the failure message of the Data Transform is as described above, to resolve the mentioned error, please follow the Resolution section of the article.
This type of error usually occurs when there is a typecast issue in the Transform definition.
1. Verify if there is a formula field to convert a date/time field in the output node of the transform.
2. If yes, please check if you have used the correct date formatting as mentioned in the article link here: https://spark.apache.org/docs/latest/sql-ref-datetime-pattern.html
3. Modify the formula in the date_format function by checking the syntax according to the article stated above to resolve the issue.
4. Now run the data transform to convert the column type to Date and the date values to the specified format, and check if the issue is resolved.
If the issue still persists after following the above steps, please log a case with the Salesforce Support Team.
