This article explains the steps from app submission to release using Mobile Publisher and the review period involved.
Here is the general flow and estimated timeframes from application to release. (This is an example when the application is complete and proceeds smoothly)
1.Review for Beta App Provision after Application: Several business days to about 2 weeks
2.Beta App Provision, Operational Confirmation, and Production App Application: The customer conducts testing of the beta app
3.Review for Production App Provision: Several business days to about 2 weeks
4.Production App Release
The review is conducted according to the guidelines of Apple and Google. The duration also depends on the reviewers' schedule, so Salesforce has no control over it. Furthermore, the timeframes above are based on past performance and are not a guarantee. We recommend not finalizing the release date until at least the beta application review is complete (as unexpected rejections or delays may significantly postpone the schedule).
If the application is rejected, you will need to make corrections based on the reason for rejection and reapply. The reapplication process will require a similar amount of time, so please set a generous schedule.
