This article explains the main causes and resolution steps for the issue that "My Account" does not appear in the Experience Cloud site user profile menu. 

Solución

Resolution Steps: 
If ”My Account” does not appear in the profile menu, please check the following four points. 

 

  • Linking Account Records to Users
    ”My Account” is only displayed for Experience Cloud site users who have an associated Account record. 
    It will not appear when a System Administrator is previewing in Experience Builder.
    Ensure that the Account record is correctly linked to the target site user. 

  • User Profile Menu Property Settings
    Check the settings of the User Profile Menu component.
    1. Open Experience Builder for the target site.
    2. Select the User Profile Menu component and open the property settings.
    3. In the Authenticated User Options section, ensure that Include Account Management is checked. 

  • Read Permission on Account Object in Profile
    The user's profile permission to the Account object. 
    Check the target user's profile settings and verify that at least "Read" access is granted for the Account object. 

  • Impact of Custom CSS
    Custom CSS may be hiding ”My Account” in the User Profile Menu.  Try removing the custom CSS to see if the display changes.
    Note: Custom CSS is not covered by Salesforce Support.
