This article explains how to create a custom report in Agentforce Service (formerly Service Cloud) to accurately track the total number of Survey responses completed during a specific contract period for usage monitoring purposes.
The Usage-based Entitlements page in Salesforce Setup shows a cumulative total of Survey responses consumed by the organization to date. This value does not represent the number of responses consumed in only the current contract period. By creating a custom report type filtered by your contract period start and end dates, you can accurately track the total number of completed Survey Question Responses for any period.
Note: As long as the Survey Question Response records are not deleted, the total record count in this report represents the total number of responses completed within the specified period.
Step 1 — Create a Custom Report Type
Report Types in the Quick Find box and select Report Types.SurveyQuestionResponse) as the Primary Object.Step 2 — Create the Report Using the Custom Report Type
The report record count represents the total number of Survey responses completed within the filtered date range.
