When attempting to view records in Profile Explorer, you may encounter issues such as the page failing to load or displaying a Gack error. This error indicates a problem with the underlying query or configuration.
You might see an error message similar to the following:
Error Message:
“Something's not right with the query. Check the columns or filter and try again. TraceId: [TraceId]”
To resolve this issue, refer to the Resolution section of this article and follow the recommended steps.
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue based on the type of error encountered:
When Identity Resolution (IR) is created, a virtual page is automatically generated, which is non-editable.
To resolve this, you must manually create a Lightning page of type CDP Record Page for the Unified Individual.
Steps:
Navigate to Setup → Lightning App Builder.
Select New → App Page → Choose CDP Record Page as the page type.
Configure and save the page as required for your Unified Individual view.
If you need assistance creating a manual CDP Record page, refer to the official Salesforce help documentation here.
If you encounter an error in the Engagement component after page load is complete, it may be due to the component referencing a default page that was created earlier and is no longer supported.
To resolve this, manually create a new Lightning page (CDP Record Page) for the Unified objects and configure it to display engagement data properly.
Steps:
Go to Setup → Lightning App Builder.
Create a new CDP Record Page for the Unified object.
Add the Profile Engagement component to the page layout.
Save and activate the page.
For more details on configuring Profile Engagements in Lightning App, refer to this help documentation here.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please raise a support case with the Salesforce Support team.
