How the Community Member Page Layout Controls Add Member Screens in Experience Cloud Sites

The page layout created in the Community Member Page Layout section of the User object is the layout used when adding members in Experience Cloud sites.

What the Community Member Page Layout Controls

The Community Member Page Layout controls the popup screen that appears in the following operations:

• The popup screen displayed when clicking the Add Member button in the Community Members related list.
• The popup screen displayed when navigating to the account management page from the profile menu My Account and clicking the Add Member button.

Who Can See the Add Member Button

• Internal users cannot see the profile menu My Account.
• Experience Cloud (community) users can see the Add Member button if the Delegated External User Administrator permission is enabled in their profile.

What Happens When No Layout Is Set

If no page layout is assigned in the Community Member Page Layout section, the popup screen displays the layout from the User Page Layout section of the User object instead.
Note: Once created, the Community Member Page Layout cannot be deleted.
