솔루션

You can customize the display names in the Marketing Cloud Personalization Affinity Graph by changing the Label setting of the Custom Catalog Object. However, there are technical specifications and limitations to this customization.

Affinity Graph Display Names

The field names in the Affinity Graph are determined by the Name and Label settings of the Custom Catalog Object in the Catalog.

  • Name: The internal system name.

  • Label: The display name shown in the user interface (UI).

The Affinity Graph displays the Label value associated with the Name.

Technical Limitations for Customization

The Custom Catalog Object Name that can be used as a dimension in the Affinity Graph is fixed to the following four types:

  • Category (This display name cannot be customized)

  • Style

  • Brand

  • ItemClass

If you create custom objects with other Names (e.g., "Size" or "Color"), they cannot be selected or displayed as dimensions in the Affinity Graph.

Customization Steps and Example

To change the display name in the graph, you must change the Label associated with one of the three customizable Names: Style, Brand, or ItemClass.

Example: How to display a custom object with the Name "Brand" as "DEALERCODES" in the Affinity Graph.

  1. In Marketing Cloud, navigate to Personalization.

  2. Go to Catalog | Custom Objects.

  3. Select the row where the Name is Brand.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. In the Label field, enter the desired display text (e.g., DealerCodes).

  6. Click Save.

With this configuration, the dimension with the Name "Brand" will now be displayed with the label "DEALERCODES" in the Affinity Graph.
