In Marketing Cloud Engagement - GroupConnect, due to the LINE API specifications used for sending, tracking "read (open)" status is not possible.
This article explains how to implement per-subscriber URL click tracking as an alternative to read tracking.

Alternative Method: Click Tracking

While read tracking is not available, it is possible to track whether a URL link within a message was clicked per subscriber.
To do this, append a parameter to the destination URL that identifies the individual subscriber, and use an analytics tool on the destination side to perform the tracking.

 

Implementation Steps:

  1. Embed a URL link in the message.
  2. Append a personalized string to the end of the URL (or as a parameter) that can identify the individual subscriber (e.g., %%LINE_ADDRESS_ID%%)
  3. Set up an implementation on the destination side to extract the parameter value from the URL.

 

Example:

https://[destination-site-url]?[parameter-name]=%%LINE_ADDRESS_ID%%

 

With this configuration, you can collect which subscriber (LINE_ADDRESS_ID) clicked the link at the destination.

Please confirm the values passed in the URL in advance and implement according to your company's and analytics tool's policies.
