Meta Pop-up Window Does Not Appear During Enhanced WhatsApp Channel Setup

The user encountered an issue during the setup of a WhatsApp (Enhanced) channel. At Step 2 of the setup process, clicking "Connect with WhatsApp" did not open the popup window to log in with Facebook/Meta credentials. The issue persisted across multiple browsers and in incognito mode, despite pop-ups being allowed and no blockers or extensions being active.

솔루션

The Meta pop-up window fails to appear because the provisioning URL is blocked by the org's Trusted URL settings. To resolve this issue:

  1. Whitelist the URL https://whatsapp-provisioning.herokuapp.com in the Trusted URLs settings.
  2. Add the domain https://whatsapp-provisioning.herokuapp.com under Session Settings.
