Flow Error: No such column 'UserPreferencesUseSalesforceMailerForLexEmail' on entity 'User'

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Nov 17, 2025
Beschreibung

When the autolaunched flow runs without the "System Context Without Sharing – Access All Data" option, and it attempts to access User records with “Automatically Store All Fields” enabled, the following error may occur:

“No such column 'UserPreferencesUseSalesforceMailerForLexEmail' on entity 'User'. If you are attempting to use a custom field, be sure to append '__c' after the custom field name.”

Note : UserPreferencesUseSalesforceMailerForLexEmail is provided here as an example, and the error may refer to other internal User preference fields depending on your org’s configuration.

Lösung

This happens because certain UserPreference fields aren’t accessible in a limited-access context, causing the Flow’s automatic field capture to reference fields the running user cannot see.

Workarounds:
- If you'd like to run the flow using "Automatically Store All Fields", please run the flow in "System Context Without Sharing – Access All Data" option.

- Alternatively, you can select "Choose fields and let Salesforce do the rest" instead of using Automatically Store All Fields."
