How to Disable Login with Salesforce Credentials

Aufgabe

You want to disable the ability for users to log into Salesforce directly with their Salesforce credentials.

Schritte
  1.  Go to Setup (the gear icon in the top right, then select Setup).
  2. In the Quick Find box, type 'Single Sign-On Settings' and select it.
  3. Click 'Edit'
  4. Deselect 'Disable login with Salesforce credentials'.
  5. Click 'Save'.
  6. To apply this setting to specific profiles, go to Setup (the gear icon), then in the Quick Find box, type 'Profiles' and select it.

    1. This step is not optional but required to actually disable login with salesforce credentials. Without the profile level permission enabled the changes to single sign on settings will not take effect and the users will still be able to login with their credential

  7. Click the name of the profile you want to modify.
  8. Under 'System Permissions', click 'Edit'.
  9. Deselect 'Is Single Sign-On Enabled'.
  10. Click 'Save'.
