公開日: Nov 18, 2025
タスク

You want to fix a Web-to-Lead form that is not creating leads in Salesforce.

ステップ
  1. Go to Setup (the gear icon in the top right, then select Setup).
  2. In the Quick Find box, type 'Web-to-Lead' and select 'Web-to-Lead'.
  3. Verify that 'Enable Web-to-Lead' is checked. If not, check it and click 'Save'.
  4. Click 'Create Web-to-Lead Form'.
  5. Select the fields you want to include on your Web-to-Lead form. Ensure all required fields for your Lead object are included in the form.
  6. Add reCAPTCHA verification to prevent spam leads. Check 'Require reCAPTCHA Verification'.
    1. Note: In some instances, adding recaptcha can pose challenges. To ensure the proper functioning of the standard form, we recommend that customers remove any customization and captcha as part of initial troubleshooting
  7. Click 'Generate'.
  8. Copy the generated HTML code.
  9. Paste the HTML code into your website's web page where you want the form to appear.
  10. Test the form by submitting a new lead from your website.
  11. If the form is still not working, check your organization's 'Lead Assignment Rules' to ensure leads are being assigned correctly. Go to Setup, then in the Quick Find box, type 'Lead Assignment Rules' and select it. Verify active assignment rules.
  12. Review 'Validation Rules' on the Lead object that might be preventing lead creation. Go to Setup, then in the Quick Find box, type 'Object Manager', select 'Lead', and then 'Validation Rules'. Temporarily deactivate any validation rules to test if they are causing the issue.
  13. Check the 'Debug Logs' for any errors related to Web-to-Lead submission. Go to Setup, then in the Quick Find box, type 'Debug Logs' and select 'Debug Logs'. Set up a debug log for the guest user or integration user submitting the form.
