The custom setting "Custom Class Implementation" may be only partially created during the installation of the vlocity_cmt package.
As a result, you might encounter an 'Attempt to de-reference a null object' error in getCartsProducts, createCart, or other processes.
This issue can be avoided by running Interface Implementation Maintenance (Restore).
Open [Vlocity CMT Administration] from the App Launcher.
Click Maintenance Jobs.
Execute Interface Implementation Maintenance (Restore).
Note: Interface Implementation Maintenance (Restore) job will restore the default set of Vlocity Communications interfaces and implementations, returning the system to the default. If there are any custom interface implementations, record them beforehand and reconfigure them after the job execution.
Additionally, if the same error occurs after the upgrade of the vlocity_cmt package, refer to Error executing a Cart API (GENERIC_PRODUCT_SERVICE_EXCEPTION - Code 209) and run Interface Implementation Maintenance (Merge).
