Macros and quick text are generally not available in Experience Cloud site Chatter feeds. This article explains the limitations, exceptional cases where they are available, and alternatives using Flow.
Components related to Experience Cloud site feeds do not support macros or quick text.
Generally, macros and quick text cannot be used in Experience Cloud sites. As an exception, they are available only when all of the following conditions are met:
Using a Salesforce Classic environment (Salesforce Tabs + Visualforce sites)
*Note: Macros and Quick Text are unavailable for Aura and LWR sites.
The user holds a Salesforce license
*External users cannot use macros or quick text because they cannot be granted access to Macro and Quick Text objects.
If these exceptions do not apply, there is currently no standard feature to achieve this. Please consider using Flows as a partial alternative.
Note: When using Flows as an alternative, it is difficult to implement user-specific settings as can be done with Chatter macros.
