Users with Manager access to CRM Analytics Apps to lose their Manager rights if the user is deactivated and later reactivated.
If an app has only one assigned Manager and that user is deactivated, the app can become inaccessible. Without an active user holding Manager access, the app cannot be reconfigured or deleted.
Error Message: Unable to delete
Impact: Apps with no active Manager cannot be modified or removed.
If you have a Permission Set License (such as Analytics Platform/Growth, CRM Analytics Plus, or Revenue Intelligence) that grants access to the Manage Analytics permission, a user with this permission can update the Manager on the impacted app.
If you do not have a Permission Set License that includes Manage Analytics, please contact your Account Team to request a temporary or courtesy CRM Analytics Growth license.
When users are deactivated, they lose share and delete access to all apps they manage. To avoid apps becoming “stranded,” ensure that Manager access is assigned to at least one active user before deactivating the current app manager.
