When using a forward proxy, connecting to a published extract data source (.hyper) may fail after a Tableau Server upgrade or Windows Server network environment configuration changes, with the following error:
Could not find Hyper hosts to connect to.
Unable to connect to the Data Extract server ''. Ensure that the server is running and that you have access privileges to the requested database.
This issue occurs when internal communications during Hyper connections within Tableau Server are incorrectly routed through the forward proxy.
To resolve this issue, ensure that 127.0.0.1 and localhost are added to the no_proxy environment variables to bypass the proxy.
