1.Open the target website and launch the Salesforce Interactions SDK Launcher to turn on the Visual Editor.
2.Click Sitemap from the menu.
3.Make a minor change to the Sitemap code, such as adding and then removing a space on a blank line. (This activates the [Save] button.)
4.Click [Save].
*It is also recommended to click [Execute] and confirm that no errors occur.
5. Return to the Marketing Cloud Personalization admin screen, reload the browser, and verify whether the Page Type or Content Zone now appears on the campaign or template configuration screen.
If a forced save does not resolve the issue, verify the Sitemap logic for the following:
CSS Selectors: Ensure the selector defined in the Content Zone matches an active element on the current page. If the site's DOM (IDs or Classes) has changed, the zone will fail to initialize.
Required Properties: Confirm that the interaction property and other mandatory fields are correctly mapped. Syntax errors in one section can prevent the entire Sitemap from being parsed correctly by the campaign builder.
