FAQ: Automations Containing "PS" or "PSMain" in Marketing Cloud

1. Recommended Action

Do not manually stop, delete, or modify these automations. These are critical processes automatically generated and executed by the system when features such as Marketing Cloud Einstein or Data Cloud are enabled.

• Impact: These automations run in the background and do not negatively affect your operational processes. Please keep them active without changing any settings.

• Risk of Stopping: They perform data analysis for Einstein features and data synchronization for related functions. Stopping or deleting them may result in insufficient data for Einstein analysis or cause malfunctions in related features.

2. Impact on License Limits

System-generated automations do not count toward your contractual "Annual Automation Runs" limit. Therefore, there is no need to stop them to save on execution counts. You can safely leave them running.

3. Identifying System Automations

Automations generated by the system typically include the following strings in their names:

• PSMain

• PSExtended

• _ChatMessagingSubscriptionView-PS

• _MobileSubscriptionView-PS
