When deploying a Permission Set Group from one Salesforce org to another via Change Sets, the associated Muting Permission Set is not included in the deployment. This results in the Muting Permission Set being absent in the target organization (Sandbox or Production), requiring manual reconfiguration.
Muting permission sets are not currently supported in change sets.
Currently, muting permission sets are not supported in change sets.
Therefore, even if the permission set group is deployed, the associated muting permission set will not be included in the change set and will not be deployed to the target organization (Sandbox or Production).
System administrators must manually configure the muting permission sets in the target organization by following these steps:
Log in to the target organization (Production or Sandbox).
From Setup, navigate to Permission Set Groups.
Select the target Permission Set Group.
In the "Muting Permission Set in Group" section, create or configure the muting permission set manually to match the configuration in the source environment.
