Experience Cloud: "Insufficient Access to Community" Error and Login Failure When Accessing Site URL

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Dec 17, 2025
Beschreibung

Why This Happens

Users — including System Administrators — receive an "Insufficient Access to Community" error when attempting to log in via an Experience Cloud site URL if the site has never been published. An unpublished Experience Cloud site does not allow any user to log in, regardless of their profile or permissions.

Lösung

Steps to Publish the Experience Cloud Site

If a user registered as a member cannot log in via the Experience Cloud site URL and "Insufficient Access to Community" is recorded in the login history, the site may not have been published. Follow these steps to publish the site:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Digital Experiences > All Sites.
  2. Click Builder next to the target site.
  3. Select Settings > Change History on the left side of the screen to check if the site has ever been published.
  4. If the site has not been published, click the Publish button in the upper-right corner.
