In the Salesforce Mobile App, users are restricted to standard Task list views. Custom filters created in Lightning Experience do not carry over. This article outlines the hard-coded logic for standard views and confirms these filters cannot be modified

  • The filters and visible fields for the standard Task list views in the Salesforce Mobile App cannot be modified.
  • Reference Date (Today)
    The reference for dates such as "Today" in the filters is defined as follows:
    • It is based on the [Time Zone] in the Salesforce user's personal settings.
    • It is not based on the device's time settings or the current location time.
  • List of Filters for Standard List Views
    The filters for each standard list view are as follows:

  • "Assigned To" is the current user
  • "Due Date" is from 30 days ago based on today to a future date, or "Due Date" is not set
  • "Status" is not Completed
TodayMatches ALL (AND)
  • "Assigned To" is the current user
  • "Due Date" is from 30 days ago based on today to today's date
  • "Status" is not Completed
All OverdueMatches ALL (AND)
  • "Assigned To" is the current user
  • "Due Date" is yesterday or earlier based on today
  • "Status" is not Completed
Completed Within Last 7 DaysMatches ALL (AND)
  • "Assigned To" is the current user
  • "Status" is Completed
  • The date when the “Status” was changed to Completed or the ToDo record was edited, from 7 days prior to today
Delegated TasksMatches ANY (OR)
  • When creating a Task record, a user other than the current user was set as the assignee
  • When creating a Task record, it was assigned to the current user, and then the assignee was changed to another person

Note: If User B creates a Task record and assigns it to User A, and then User A assigns it to User B or User C, this filter does not apply. This only applies if the current user created the record themselves.
