Explains the specific values for the Domain field in Digital Engagement's Embedded Service Deployment settings to enable chat on your website, including Experience Cloud and external sites. This article is for Agentforce Service (formerly Service Cloud).
In the “Domain” field of the Embedded Service Deployment, enter the root domain of the website where you will place the chat (excluding the protocol, e.g., https://).
This setting enables the chat on the specified domain and all its subdomains (e.g., help.example.com).
Configuration Procedure
Depending on your site type, enter the domain using the following method:
・For Experience Cloud sites
Go to [Settings] > [Domains].
Copy the domain portion of the target Experience Cloud site.
Paste it into the “Domain” field of the Embedded Service Deployment.
・For external sites
Enter the root domain of the external site page where you want to place the chat.
