Slack Application Setup in Salesforce requires elevated system permissions because it grants access to integration configuration that can affect all data and application behavior across the org. Specifically, the Edit All Data permission allows the user to manage all records, while Customize Application enables modification of application-level settings

Solución

To make Slack Application Setup visible in the Setup menu, a Salesforce Administrator must enable the following system-level permissions on the user's profile or permission set:-

  1. Go to Setup | Users | Profiles.

  2. Select the profile associated with the user.

  3. Click System Permissions.

  4. Click Edit and enable the following permissions: 

    • Edit All Data

    • Customize Application

  5. Click Save.
