If a [Blank Space] field is placed in the relevant page layout, the section may continue to be displayed because an empty space remains within the section, even in the following scenarios:
All fields within the section (except the [Blank Space] field) have been removed
Fields are hidden from the user due to Field-Level Security
To hide an unnecessary section, you must remove the [Blank Space] field from the page layout.
The steps are described below.
Steps
Click [Setup] from the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
From Object Manager, click the relevant object.
From Page Layouts on the left, click the relevant page layout.
Drag and drop the [Blank Space] field from the section back to the top area to remove it
(or remove it using the minus [–] icon).
Click [Save] in the upper-left corner of the screen.
