This article explains how to find your assigned Salesforce Account Executive (AE) — your primary commercial contact — using the Your Account app in Salesforce Setup. It also covers common issues your AE can help with, including designated contact management, license renewals, and org expirations.
Your Salesforce Account Executive (AE) is your primary point of contact for all commercial and licensing needs beyond basic access to the Customer Portal. They support activities such as enrolling in Pilot Programs and Beta Programs, managing designated contacts in the Salesforce Help Portal, and coordinating license renewals and contract expirations.

Common Issues Your Account Executive Can Help With

Designated Contact Management

To add, remove, or update Primary or Secondary Designated Contacts in the Salesforce Help Portal — so support notifications reach the right people — your AE can submit these changes on your behalf. See Create and Manage Designated Contacts on Salesforce Help.

Salesforce Org Expiration and Renewal

If a Salesforce Org is due to expire or has lapsed licenses, your AE coordinates renewal or payment and confirms reactivation once new license keys are applied. See Access to Organizations with 'Expired,' 'Hold,' and 'Locked' Status.

License Expirations and Renewals

Account Executives typically reach out approximately 60 days before a license or maintenance term expires. They provide renewal quotes, discuss terms, and deliver updated keys to help ensure uninterrupted service. See Salesforce Renewal FAQ.

Buying Additional Licenses

You can purchase additional licenses directly through Your Account, or by visiting https://sfdc.co/ya.
