What Counts as a Row on the Gantt?

A row on the Gantt represents any schedulable or time-based entity that needs to be rendered in the timeline view. Common row types include:

• Service Resources
  Each technician, worker, or field agent displayed on the Gantt counts as one row.

• Absence Records
  Approved absences (such as leave, training, or time off) associated with service resources also count as rows.

• Other Schedulable Resources
  Any additional resources configured to appear on the Gantt (for example, crews or capacity-based resources) are included in the row count.

In short, every visible resource or resource-related time block displayed vertically on the Gantt contributes to the total row count.

What Is the Row Limit?

• The Salesforce Field Service Gantt supports up to 500 rows at a time.

• If the total number of rows exceeds this limit, the Gantt cannot render the view and displays the error message.

What Happens When You Exceed 500 Rows?

When the row limit is exceeded:

• The Gantt does not display all resources

• The system prompts you to narrow your selection
