Troubleshooting "Salesforce User Isn't Connected to Slack" Error in Slack Flow Core Actions

When using the 'Send Slack Message' action in a flow, the flow fails with the following error:

"The Salesforce user isn’t connected to Slack. Reinstall the app in Slack, or reconnect the app’s Salesforce user to Slack, and try again."

Common Causes and Solutions

  1. App Connection
    1. Reinstall the Salesforce app in Slack.
  2. User Connection
    1. Reconnect the app's Salesforce user to Slack. 
  3. Incorrect IDs
    1. Check the input parameters to the 'Send Slack Messaging Action' and ensure the correct IDs are provided. The Flow might register this error message when using the wrong Slack Workspace ID or Slack Conversation ID.  See Send Slack Message Action for input parameter details.
