This article provides frequently asked questions regarding the features, specifications, and limitations of CloudPages within Marketing Cloud Engagement.

Решение

Q1. Are there standard features for IP restrictions or login authentication in CloudPages?

A. No, these are not provided as standard features. CloudPages is designed primarily for public-facing content and does not include built-in access control. If your security policy requires restrictions, you must manually implement custom logic, such as IP filtering via JavaScript or custom login flows. Note: Technical support for custom code implementation or third-party security verification is outside the scope of standard product support.

Q2. Is it possible to track metrics other than impressions (views)?

A. Currently, only impression data is available. CloudPages does not natively track advanced metrics like click-through rates, page navigation, time on page, or bounce rates. For detailed behavioral analysis, we recommend integrating a third-party analytics solution.

Q3. When exactly is an impression counted for billing purposes?

A. An impression is counted (and a SuperMessage is consumed) when an HTTP 200 OK status is returned. Please be aware that this count includes all requests that result in a successful load, including those initiated by web crawlers or bots.

Q4. Are there any limits on the number of concurrent connections or total visits?

A. There are no fixed numerical limits on traffic. However, rate limiting may be applied dynamically based on system load. During periods of exceptionally high traffic or system stress, users may experience temporary connectivity issues or intermittent access.
