How to Add Certifications to Your LinkedIn Profile

To add your certification(s) to your LinkedIn profile through the certification verification page, follow the instructions below:

1. Visit the certification verification page.
   
   
2. Locate your certifications by searching for your full name or email address. 
   
   
3. Click View Certifications to view all of your certifications.
   
   
4. Click Add to LinkedIn.*
   
   
5. Follow the prompts to log in to your LinkedIn account and add in your certification details.
   
   *To add your Salesforce certifications, you must be the person named on the page and have the active certification(s) listed. Misrepresentation of a Salesforce certification will result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the Salesforce certification program.
   
   
   

Useful Tips

1. Certification name: Type in the Salesforce certification name (i.e. Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator)
   
   
2. Certification authority: Type in Salesforce
   
   
3. License number: You can locate your certification number on your certificate. Certificates are sent as an attachment to your results email after you passed the exam. If you cannot find your certificate, you can submit a case through Salesforce Help to request your certificate be resent.
   
   
4. Time period: Select the month and year you earned the certification. If your certification is still active, you can select "This certification does not expire." In the event you do not meet the maintenance requirements and your certification expires, you can edit your details to include an end date.
   
   
5. Certification URL: Copy and paste the URL from the certification verification page.
