For any in-person Salesforce certification event with proctored exams, where the event is Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and for all online proctored exams there are updated computer system requirements that must be completed before your scheduled exam.
First, the Browser Lock program must be installed prior to your arrival to the event for security purposes. Then, your device must meet the operating system requirements for taking a Salesforce certification exam.
It is important you have downloaded and installed the Browser Lock: program before you arrive onsite to your event or before your scheduled online proctored exam. Browser Lock is simple to install and no additional modifications to your computer are required.
Follow the steps below to download and install Browser Lock:
Step 1: Ensure you have the ability to download and install software on your machine.
If you do not have Admin privileges on your device, you will not be able to launch your exam.
Step 2: Download Browser Lock. Links differ by operating system, see below.
Step 3: Install the downloaded file.
If you are unable to download Browser Lock, please open a case for assistance.
