Q: Why are all Salesforce certifications moving to one place?
A: Today, Trailblazers access their Salesforce certification information across multiple platforms. This July, we’re making it easier for Trailblazers to find the certification information they need in one central place—including exam details, registering for an exam, and managing registration details.

Q: What additional resources are available about the new certification experience?
A: Below are four additional resources that provide details about the changes surrounding the new certification experience:

  1. Salesforce Certification Name Changes FAQ

Q: How can I ensure my certifications will appear in the new certification experience?
A: To make sure your certifications show up in the new experience, login to your Trailblazer profile. Then, go to "Settings" and check under "Connected Accounts" to see if your Webassessor email is there. If not, you can easily add it by clicking "Connect an Account."

Q: I don’t have a Trailblazer profile. Do I need one?
A: Yes. You will need to create a Trailblazer profile for your certifications to appear as part of this new certification experience. Go to www.trailhead.com and create a new account. Important: Be sure your Trailblazer profile uses the email linked to your Webassessor account.

Q: I already have a Trailblazer profile. Should I set up a new Trailblazer profile just for my certifications?
A: No. You should use your existing Trailblazer profile for your certifications.

Q: What is my Trailhead Academy Account?
A: Your Trailhead Academy Account will be located in the new certification experience on Trailhead Academy. Your Trailhead Academy account is different from your Trailblazer Profile, which serves as a resume of all your accomplishments at Salesforce and on Trailhead.

Your Trailhead Academy Account holds all of your personal details related to certifications including legal name, employer, address, privacy opt-in, and more.

Q: How do I change my legal name in my Trailhead Academy Account?
A: To change your legal name in your Trailhead Academy Account, please submit a case.

Q: How will my Salesforce certification data be transferred to the new certification experience?
A: If your Salesforce exam was taken in Webassessor, all registration data will be available in the new experience starting July 21, 2025. However, if your certification exam was not completed in Webassessor, the registration data of your most recently earned certification will be available to view in this new experience. This would be applicable to Accredited Professional, MuleSoft, Slack, and Tableau exams.

Q: Can exams in the new certification experience be taken in person, online, or both?
A: Both. In the new experience you will have the ability to schedule your Salesforce exam either at a physical testing center (onsite) or remotely online. It's important to note that any current security restrictions on your account will also apply in the new experience.

Q: Am I able to take a certification exam if my home address is located in Quebec, Canada?
A: Salesforce certifications in English are now available for residents of Quebec.

Merci.

Q: If I possess an expired Dominican Republic government ID, will it be accepted?
A: During your exam pre-check, your proctor will accept any Dominican Republic ID card that is expired, as long as it's not expired longer than 6 years and meets our additional ID requirements.

Q: What are the technical requirements for a Mac or Windows operating system to successfully complete an online-proctored Salesforce certification exam?
A: Please review the OnVUE Candidate Technical Requirements PDF to ensure your Mac or Windows operating system meets the recommended specifications for taking an online-proctored Salesforce certification exam.

NOTE: Before you begin your exam, it's crucial to disconnect from any VPN/Zscaler connections or screenshot applications. This will help ensure a smooth testing experience.

Q: Will the new certification experience be accessible on mobile devices?
A: The new certification experience allows you to register for exams on mobile devices. However, exam delivery is not permitted on mobile devices. This experience is the same as it is in the current Salesforce certification experience.
