Learn what payment options are accepted for Salesforce certification exams and when payment is due during the exam registration process.
Payment options for a Salesforce certification exam includes credit card, voucher code, or promo code. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Japan Credit Bureau credit cards. In addition, you can use a debit card as long as it has the MasterCard or Visa logo on it.*
If a cost is associated with a certification exam, you will pay for the exam during registration. Certification exams are taxable per local laws. Taxes will be collected in Pearson at the time of registration.
Please ensure that you enter the correct credit card number or voucher code, as well as the billing address you'd like associated with your exam's invoice, before submitting payment. If you submit incorrect payment information too many times, you will be temporarily blocked from registering for your exam. Also, if you receive an error the first time you enter your credit card number or voucher code, do not copy and paste it again. Enter the code manually to ensure all characters or numbers are being entered correctly.
*Effective October 30, 2025, due to sanctions compliance, all credit card transactions for Salesforce certification exams originating from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, and Uganda will not be processed. Payments for new registrations and refunds for canceled registrations from these countries will not be accepted. However, candidates can purchase a voucher from Pearson VUE’s Salesforce Exam Voucher Store and use it to pay for exam registrations, bypassing the need for a credit card transaction.
