Reschedule From a Testing Center to Online-Proctored (Pearson onVUE)

If you have already registered for your Salesforce exam at a testing center but would like to take your exam remotely through online proctoring, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Review Online Proctoring Requirements

Before registering for an online exam, you should review the system requirements, hardware requirements, and testing policies outlined in the article Salesforce Certification Online Proctoring—Complete Your Exam Remotely. 

Be sure to review Salesforce Certification Online Proctoring Guide (Mac Operating System) and Salesforce Certification Online Proctoring Guide (Windows Operating System to ensure you successfully complete your exam. Online proctoring is available in all time zones and requires advanced registration. 

Step 2: Cancel Your Testing Center Exam

To begin the process of switching from a testing center to online proctored exam, you will need to cancel your current exam registration. To cancel your registration:

1. Login to your Trailblazer Profile on Trailhead Academy.
   
   
2. On the Upcoming section of the homepage, locate the exam you wish to cancel. 
   
   
3. Select the exam and you will be taken to your appointment confirmation page.
   
   
4. On your appointment confirmation page, select the Modify Registration button. If you do not see the modify registration button, your exam cannot be cancelled. Please review our reschedule and cancellation policy.
   
   
5. When you select the Modify Registration button you will be taken to Pearson VUE. On the Pearson VUE screen you will have the option to reschedule or cancel your exam.
   
   
6. Follow the prompts within the Pearson onVUE system to cancel your exam.
   
   
7. If you paid with a credit card, please allow seven (7) business days for a refund. If you paid with a voucher, your voucher will be reinstated per the original voucher terms and conditions.
   
   
8. Once your registration has been canceled, you will receive an email confirmation to your email address linked to your Trailblazer Profile. 
   
   

Step 3: Register for an Online Proctored Exam

You are now able to schedule a net-new registration with a new delivery option. Learn more about how to register for an online-proctored Salesforce certification exam.

Reschedule From Online-Proctored (Pearson OnVUE) to a Testing Center

Note: If online proctored delivery is unavailable or blocked on your account (not just outside the reschedule window), you can still follow these steps to register for a testing center exam. Open a support case to request that online proctored delivery be re-enabled on your account.

Step 1: Cancel Your Online-Proctored Exam

To begin the process of switching from an online proctored exam to a testing center, you will need to cancel your current exam registration. To cancel your registration:

1. Login to your Trailblazer Profile on Trailhead Academy.
   
   
2. On the Upcoming section of the homepage, locate the exam you wish to cancel. 
   
   
3. Select the exam and you will be taken to your appointment confirmation page.
   
   
4. On your appointment confirmation page, select the Modify Registration button. If you do not see the modify registration button, your exam cannot be cancelled. Please review our reschedule and cancellation policy.
   
   
5. When you select the Modify Registration button you will be taken to Pearson VUE. On the Pearson VUE screen you will have the option to reschedule or cancel your exam.
   
   
6. Follow the prompts within the Pearson onVUE system to cancel your exam.
